These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Gate मित्र operated by Dynamite Technology Private Limited. By registering a society, logging in, or installing the Android app, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Gate मित्र is a society operations platform: visitor management, gate passes, resident directories, notices, amenities, billing, expenses, complaints, and related tools on web and mobile.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older, or acting under the authority of a registered housing society.
- Society admins are responsible for creating accurate resident and gatekeeper accounts.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- We may suspend a society or user for abuse, unpaid platform fees (if applicable), or legal risk.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Log false visitor identities or misuse approval workflows
- Capture or share visitor photos except for legitimate society security
- Attempt unauthorized access to another society’s data
- Upload malware or scrape the API beyond normal app use
- Use the Services for anything unlawful
4. Society responsibilities
The housing society (through its admin) decides who is a resident, what dues are raised, and how visitor photos are used on site. The society must have a lawful basis to process resident and visitor information and must inform visitors that entry may be logged digitally.
5. Payments
Maintenance invoices recorded in the app may be collected offline (cash/UPI/bank) or via a third-party gateway if the society enables it. We are not a bank. Gateway fees and settlement are governed by the gateway’s terms and the society’s bank account details.
6. Intellectual property
The platform software, branding, and design belong to Dynamite Technology Private Limited. Society-uploaded content (logos, notices, photos) remains the society’s, with a license for us to host and display it to provide the Services.
7. Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that visitor notifications will always arrive instantly (device settings, network, or FCM outages can delay alerts). Gate security remains the society’s operational responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dynamite Technology Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from a society’s misuse of visitor logs, incorrect billing entries, or a user’s failure to keep credentials secure. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees paid to us for the three months preceding the claim (or INR 5,000 if no fees were paid).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time via the app or account deletion page. We may terminate access if these Terms are breached.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place of Dynamite Technology Private Limited’s principal office shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights.
